This chutney will work very well with cheese, roast pork or ham and even turkey! This chutney can be eaten immediately, but the flavours will improve with maturation.

You will need:

5 pears, cubed into 1/2 cm chunks

200g cranberries

20 leaves of sage, roughly chopped

1 tsp salt

2 tblsp honey

2 tblsp cider vinegar

Pop all the ingredients into a saucepan and cover with a lid

Leave on a medium heat until the pears are very soft

Pour into a sterilised jar and leave to mature for a couple of months
