Try these delectable canapés. Weekend is the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time in the kitchen (and with friends and family). They are also suitable for veggies and look absolutely stunning.

You will need:

Sliced cooked beetroot
200g goats cheese
40-50g double cream
1 teaspoon of dijon mustard
1 heaped teaspoon of lavender buds

Place all the ingredients into a bowl and whisk until just fluffy and smooth adding more cream if the mixture is too thick
Place a slice of beetroot on a plate and pipe the mousse on top
Decorate with herbs and chopped nuts
