This is a warming and flavoursome cocktail. It does work very well with our slow roast pork recipe or as an aperitif. You can serve warm or with ice.

You need for 1 cocktail:

1 shot of sloe gin (we used Bramley&Gage)

150ml mulled apple juice

To mull your apple juice: Add 1 stick of cinnamon, 4 cardamon pods, 2 star anise and 4 cloves into 1l of apple juice and bring to a gentle simmer and keep on the heat for 40 minutes. If serving cold, leave to cool or use straight away for a warmer!

Pour the gin into a glass and top up with the mulled apple juice.
