Fudge is surprisingly easy snack to make and is incredibly versatile.

300g of rose flavoured caster sugar
170g of evaporated milk
50g of unsalted butter
100g of golden syrup
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon powder
50g dreid cranberries
100g peeled pistachios

Line a tray with baking parchment
Combine the ingredients (apart from pistachios and cranberries) in a saucepan
Gently melt the sugar over medium heat, increase the heat and simmer until the mixture reaches 116C
Remove from the heat and leave to cool slightly
Beat with a large spoon until the mixture looses it’s shine
Pour into the tray and leave to set on the fridge for at least an hour
Slice, wrap and gift!
