This is a super quick, warming and filling porridge, can be eaten at any time of day and the flavourings are endless.

You will need:

600ml milk (or a dairy free alternative – we like almond or hazelnut)
85g semolina
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup
1 pear, cubed
1 teaspoon of butter or coconut oil
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
Topping:
Demerara or coconut sugar
Cacao powder
Another small knob of butter or coconut oil
Scattering of pecans
Pear crisps (optional)

Pour the milk into a pan with the butter/coconut oil, honey, pear and salt
Bring to a simmer and add the semolina
Stir immediately to break up any lumps
Simmer and keep stirring for 2 more minutes and your porridge is ready!
Add the topping and enjoy
