These are quick to make and a great addition to many dishes. They work well with any oily dishes, meats, fish and even vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of fine salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of honey

Method

Cut the onion in half and peel
Then slice into thin strips
Place in a non metal bowl and combine with the other ingredients
Throughly combine
Leave to stand for at least 30 minutes (or over night) at room temperature
Serve
