This is a vibrant and delicious snack, which will keep in the fridge for a few days.

Ingredients

  • 400g cooked chickpeas
  • Juice from 1 small lemon
  • 4 tablespoons of dark tahini
  • 100g cooked beetroot flesh
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic oil
  • 60ml boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • 40-70ml smoked oil

Method

Add all the ingredients apart from the oil to a blender or mixer and process
Add enough oil for a smooth texture, sprinkle with cumin, pine nuts or decorate with sliced beetroot and dill and serve
