Smoked salmon canapés

These bagels can be served as canapés, snacks or a light lunch. They take no time to make, but are delicious

Serves 2-4


  • 5 mini bagels, cut in half lengthways
  • 150g cream cheese
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried dill (plus extra for decoration)
  • 100g smoked salmon
  • 4 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of black or white sesame seeds
  • Large pinch of dulse seaweed


Combine the cream cheese with the zest and dill
Toast the bagels and spread with the cream cheese
Top with the smoked salmon, spring onion and drizzle with a little lemon juice
Sprinkle with sesame seeds, dried dill and seaweed
Serve whilst still warm!
