Strawberry whirl biscuits Medium

Makes around 15 biscuits


  • 250g soft unsalted butter
  • 50g icing sugar
  • 225g plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon of strawberry powder
  • 20g cornflour


Preheat the oven to 190C

The butter needs to be very soft Рin the summer, room temperature is enough, but during the cold months, you  might have to soften it in the microwave

Place the butter and sugar in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy (around 5 minuets) using an electric whisker

Sieve in the dried ingredients and fold

Spoon into a piping bag fitted with a medium star nozzle

Free-style the piping. Uniformity only matters if you intend to sandwich the biscuits

Bake for 12-15 minutes until pale and just starting to colour at the edge

Leave to cool on a wire rack
