Homemade Ghee

Homemade ghee is worth the effort! It is essentially lactose free, suitable for frying and boasts a luxurious texture and incredible flavour profile.Ingredients:

  • Butter (at least 100g)

Method:

  1. Melt the butter in a heavy-based tall saucepan
  2. Gently boil for 8 minutes
  3. Strain through a muslin into a bowl
  4. Once the ghee has cooled down and is starting to thicken, transfer it to a jar
  5. Keep in the fridge
