It might seem early to start making Christmas presents, but when it comes to drinks- they need time to mature. We use greengages (they are delicious raw, cooked and in drinks), cinnamon and vanilla. Pop these in bottles and top with cognac. Leave for at least 6 weeks or till Christmas. Strain before enjoying chilled neat or in a cocktail. The flavours work particularly well with apple juice.
