Creamy tiramisu

This is a swift tiramisu recipe with all the delicious creaminess and a serious boozy kick!

Serves 2



  • 200g mascarpone cheese
  • 100g double cream
  • 2 tablespoons of icing sugar
  • 3-4 tablespoons of Kahlua
  • 2 tablespoon soy instant coffee granules
  • 100-150g of sponge fingers
  • Cocoa powder to sprinkle


Whisk the mascarpone with the double cream, Kahlua and the sifted icing sugar until smooth, thick and creamy
Add more cream or Kahlua if the mixture is too thick
Dissolve the coffee granules in 250ml boiling water
Soak the sponge fingers in the coffee and layer with the mascarpone mixture in a glass
You can serve these straight away or keep in the fridge until needed
Sprinkle with cocoa powder just before service
