Make delicious and easy pancakes.

Ingredients

  • 100g plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon of rapeseed oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 300ml milk

Method

Place the flour into a large bowl and make a well in the center
Pour the oil and eggs into the well and gradually incorporate the flour into the wet ingredients with a whisk
Once combined and starting to thicken, slowly pour in the milk, whilst whisking and mixing thoroughly
Leave to rest for 30 minutes
Heat a pan to medium heat and pour in a little oil
Add the batter in small ladlefuls
Spread the batter by tilting the pan, making sure the pancake is thin and even
Cook for 1-2 minutes and flip
Finish cooking for another 30 seconds to a minute and serve

Flavour combinations:
Add 2 tablespoons of cacao powder to the pancake batter and top with orange sugar and blood orange juice
Add 1 teaspoon of rose water and an extra tablespoon of plain flour to the pancake batter and top with toasted desiccated coconut, lime juice and berries
Add lavender sugar and lemon juice to a plain pancake with lots of berries and whipped double cream
