This deliciously sweet, sticky and salty Japanese classic can be used with vegetables, sirloin beef, salmon or chicken. Make the sauce then use to baste your chosen ingredient whilst frying to glaze your food and impart the delicious flavour. Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds. Easy!
– 125ml dark soy sauce
– 125ml mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine)
– 125ml sake
– 1 tbsp sugar
