When the weather is starting to turn cold, we need a lovely warming kick to get us going in the morning. This is an unusual, quite thick and certainly filling drink.

You need (serves 2):

1 banana

1 peach

3 tablespoons of quinoa flakes

300ml brown rice ilk

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1/2 tsp bee pollen

 

Heat the quinoa flakes with the milk in a pan and simmer for 5 minutes, leave to cool for a couple of minutes

Pop the rest of the ingredients in a bender and pour the slightly cooled milk and quinoa mixture over the fruit and blend

Serve in heat resistant glass
